Well it now started, when I say started it kind of looks like a very bad rugby pitch.
I will explian, you see when we bought our house 4 years ago the garden contained two ponds, one oval quite large one that contained koi, and the other a purpose built brick based pond that was oblong and quite deep containing gold-fish, well over time with the way the garden is designed the majority of it being water, with another not well planned raised area of grass that due to its location was never actually used by anyone other than the dog. We made the monumental decision to change the entire thing the first to go was the ponds the fish all rehomed, we began the process.
The next step was to hire some machinery to level all the mud and destry all the brickwork, needless to say due to the weather and the time of year we have had an extremely wet weekend with a mini-digger and a lot of water to contend with, my poor husband love him has been selflessly working through the weather and doing his utmost to contend against the whole thing.
Now it resembles the rugby pitch I spoke of earlier, the brickwork now all gone, the grass that was there with it, along with anything else that actually made it look like a garden that once was sat in on high days and hoildays, passing the time relaxing in the sun. I am sure that one day this will be the case again, its what they now call a work in progress.
photos will be posted soon stay watching this space I will keep you updated as to its process
