Words of wisdom from a top network marketer! There are no
secrets to success in network marketing or multi-level
marketing( MLM). Seek and you shall find! To be successful
you must learn from those who are successful and model
after them, think like them and do what they are doing!
Being a top network marketer I have the opportunity to
attend international conventions and learn from many
successful entrepreneurs, business consultants and top
network marketers who went on stage to share their
inspirational stories and words of wisdom!
A mentor shared with me this Chinese saying: "Wise man do
not drink from poison well twice!" Learn from your mistakes
and do not commit the same mistake!
Thousands of people have joined the wrong company because
they didn't do their due diligence or seek advice from a
top network marketer who will be able to teach them how to
identify a good company. If 5 persons tell you that is a
horse, get on it and ride it!
You may be a good horse rider but you can't go far if you
are riding a sick horse! Learn how to choose the right
horse. Choosing the right company is critical to your
success.
Be willing to fail your way to success! Many top network
marketers had to go through a few companies before they
found the right one, there is a popular saying: "You have
to kiss a few frogs before you can find your prince!"
Having said that, you don't have to kiss the frogs if you
can learn from someone who had done it and found his prince!
You must understand the six "Ps" in this business, you must
have good PRODUCTS that offer great value and benefits so
your customers will stay. You must have competitive PRICES
so your customers will stay, your customers are constantly
comparing value and price. You must have PROFIT for the
company, leaders and part-timers to stay in business. You
must have a good COMPENSATION PLAN and you must also have a
definite PLAN because nobody plans to fail, they fail to
plan! You must have PATIENCE, the law of averages will
never let you down, when you have a good thing to share,
you just need to find the people who will appreciate it!
You must do whatever it takes ethically to achieve your
dreams and you must do the basics and they are listing,
prospecting, presenting, following up and following
through! It is all about doing the right things and caring
enough to share and sharing enough to care. Keep it simple,
sincere and clear. Clarity is power. If they have doubts
they will not do. Your prospects must be very clear on the
great opportunity you are offering them to achieve their
dreams.
You must work with universal laws and understand the
market. Over 90% of the population just love to shop, they
do not want to do the business. Does your compensation plan
takes care of these shoppers and encourage them to stay as
lifetime customers so that you will have a lifetime
business?
Abraham Lincoln said it so well: "You can fool all the
people some time, but you cannot fool all the people all
the time." Be true to yourself and others and work with a
good company that is doing the right things. You want a
business with integrity and offers great value and benefits
where nobody gets hurt and it is win-win!
I qualified for two wonderful trips to beautiful Hawaii in
1997 and 2001 and I learned a lot from top network
marketers and was taught a powerful way to get people to
listen with this question: "Can I talk to you like a
brother?" and ask "Do you have any plan for your
retirement?" You will be surprised that 9 out of 10 people
do not have a retirement plan!
A very successful network marketer useed this thought
provoking question on his friends when they were not
listening, he asked, "If you are so smart, why aren't you
rich?" He said that sometimes you have to hit a nerve to
get your prospect to listen and he did that to close
friends because he really want to help them break away from
the vicious poverty cycle!
Keep the business simple and understand the "TTP" concept
which means Take The Products, Talk To People and Teach The
People to do the same! The best form of leadership is to
lead by example and to walk the talk. You must be your own
best customer and use your products consistently to really
experienced the benefits and get the belief.
You also have to learn how to be a good story teller,
people love to hear positive stories! Most important of all
is to have a good heart and to have this intention to help
people and make life better!
